NOON – Leroy E., 91, of Davidsville, passed away February 12, 2024 at his daughter’s home in Davidsville. Born December 5, 1932 in Johnstown, the son of Milton E. and Eleanor J. (Webb) Noon. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Phyllis M. “Peg” (Miller) Noon; daughter, Debra Noon; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by children, Mary “Mimi” Hillegass and husband Jack of North Carolina, Michael and wife Geraldine of South Fork and Brenda Kelemen of Davidsville; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and siblings, Pauline Brush, Doris Zeunges and husband Theodore, Kenneth and wife Juanita “Becky”, Ruth Cox and Norma Jane Meske. Leroy was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown where he was a welder in the car shop division. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. At Leroy’s request, there will be no viewing.
