CARROLL – LeRoy L., 76, Jennerstown, passed away March 23, 2023 at his home. Born November 9, 1946 in Jenner Township. Son of William J. and Mildred (Brant) Carroll. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Della and husband William Lichtenfels, Kathryn and husband Terry Resh, and brothers, William, Jr., James E. and Robert M. Carroll. Survived by wife of 57 years, Bonnie K. (Horner) Carroll; sons, Clifford Todd /Jane Slifko and Michael W. and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Logan and wife Caitlin, Brittany/Zachary, Bethany/Aaron and Luke/Kylee; great-grandchildren, Addison, Alivia, Easton, Everly, Marleigh, Scarlett and one on the way; sister, Georgia and husband Vaughn Lichtenfels and numerous nieces and nephews. LeRoy was a 1964 graduate of Jenner-Boswell High School. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown and then in Baltimore for a total of 33 years. He then worked for J.C.M. Industries and G.I. Walker Trucking. A member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, Ferndale Sportsmen and New Baltimore Sportsmen and was an original member of the Jennerstown Fall Festival. He organized the Easter Egg Hunt at Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church for many, many years. He enjoyed hunting, dirt track racing and vacationing with his family.
