THOMAS – Laura J., 47, died June 6, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 14, 1975 in Johnstown. Daughter of Floyd and Linda (Naugle) Thomas. Survived by parents; daughter Joelle Thomas-Davis married to Edwin and their sons, Dar’uis, Jayvonne, Ishmell and unborn son whom Laura called her Little Lion and daughter Makaela Thomas-Poukish married to Nathen and their children, Avery, KJ, Alaynah and Nathen Jr. Also survived by brother Benjamin married to Connie; nephew Auston Thomas married to Kaelin and niece Autumn married to Codie Conrad. Laura worked as an optician for almost 28 years, most recently at Ophthalmic Associates in Johnstown. She also worked as an optician in Lancaster PA and Wilmington DE. She loved meeting new people and learning new things in the world and she was always putting other people first. There will be no viewing or services at this time.
