JACK – Larry Lee, 71, of Stoughton Lake, went to be with his Saviour on February 18, 2022 at his home, after a 2-year battle with cancer. Born October 10, 1950 in Johnstown. Son of Dwight and Ruth (Huss) Jack. Preceded in death by his father and brothers, Craig and Eugene Jack. Survived by wife of 45 years, Susan (Ickes) Jack; his mother, Ruth; sisters, Debbie Marker and Sharon Gustine and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was deeply loved by all and will be greatly missed. Larry graduated from Johnstown High School in 1968 and went on to be involved in the food industry for many years. At age 18, he became the youngest individual to manage a Fortune 500 business by running Arby’s Restaurant in Richland when it first opened. After transferring to Florida with the company, he eventually worked as a chef and waiter at the Polynesian Village in Disney World. After returning to Pennsylvania, he managed various Howard Johnson restaurants, winning awards and trips for the number of sales his restaurants produced. After retiring from the food industry, Larry went to work for Griffith Transportation, driving school bus for the North Star School District for many years. He was also employed part time at Hoffman Funeral Homes. Larry loved travelling and enjoyed cruises and trips to England, Holland, France, Greece, Mexico and various Caribbean islands. He enjoyed the ocean and made annual trips to the beach in South Carolina with family and friends. As a member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, he shared his servant’s heart by catering funerals and banquets at the church, along with several other ministries. Friends received from 10AM until time of Celebration of Life service 12PM Wednesday at Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle with Pastor Gary W. Anderson presiding.
