COUGHENOUR – Kenneth C., 85, Boswell, formerly of Jerome, died October 28, 2019 at In-Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born July 20, 1934 in Fairhope. Son of Homer L. and Ethel M. (Egolf) Coughenour. Preceded in death by parents, son Larry D., brother Melvin and sisters Elma Felton, Helen Spangler and Verna and Emma Jean Coughenour. Survived by wife of 63 years Norma D. (Shaulis) Coughenour; children Darlene married to Jan Rose, Carla and companion Kerry Faust, Robert and companion Kathy Rizer, Rod, Karen married to Joe Sarver, Ken, Verna widow of Eugene Blair, Sally widow of Rick Blough, Suzette married to Ron Hutchinson and Richard; 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; sisters Gladys Grenke, Maude Kimmel and Mary Lehman; brothers Wayne Coughenour and wife Yvonne and Rev. Sam Coughenour and wife Margie; sister-in-law Leora Petet and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1953 graduate of Berlin High School. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown. Member of Abundant Life Christian Center, Berlin. Enjoyed fishing, building jigsaw puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren and pet dog Honey. Viewing from 3PM until time of service 6PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell with Pastor Sam Coughenour presiding.
