BARNICK – Keith E., 68, Jenner Township, passed away peacefully August 22, 2021 at his home. Born January 26, 1953 in Johnstown. Son of Edward S. and Annabelle (Rager) Barnick. Preceded in death by parents and grandson Carter Barnick. Survived by wife of 48 years, Roberta “Bobbie” J. (Ripjack) Barnick; children, Heather married to Dane Stek of Ambler, Thomas and girlfriend Jennifer Wiencek of Stoystown and Andrew of Jenners; grandchildren, Taylor and Bryn Stek, Ethan Barnick and fiancé Amber Thomas and Aidan and Maleah Barnick; great-grandchildren, Dani Jo and Bowen Barnick; brother, Alan married to Michele (Kowalczyk) Barnick of Boswell and sister-in-law Charlene Taylor of Friedens. Keith was a 1970 graduate of Jenner-Boswell High School. Former employee of Lincoln Supply for over 35 years. Current Jenner Township Supervisor, a position he has held since 2006. Active member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, where he was a member of the Trinity Players. Past member of North Star School Board. Keith enjoyed painting, gardening and mowing his lawn. He especially enjoyed time with his family and attending their sporting events and activities. The family would like to thank the staff of Windber Hospice for all their compassionate care given to Keith.
