ZOODIE – Karen L. (Pugh), 74, Stoystown, died January 20, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Born July 17, 1948 in Johnstown. Daughter of Charles A. and Dorothy M. (Unger) Pugh. Preceded in death by parents; husband James J. “Coal Miner” Zoodie; infant sister Charlotte Ann Pugh and brother Charles. Survived by son, James C. Zoodie; grandchildren, Torrence, Cheyenne and Christopher Zoodie; brother, Terry Pugh; sister, Dottie Pugh and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Karen was a 1966 graduate of Jenner-Boswell High School. Former employee of Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell and Gilmour Manufacturing, Somerset. She was a member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. A private service will be held at a later date.
