Obituary for Joseph Michael "Toad" DelSignore

DelSignore - Joseph Michael, 62, Sebring, FL, formerly of Boswell, died as a result of a tragic auto accident on January 28, 2020. Joe, affectionately known as Toad, was born on March 25, 1957 in Somerset. Preceded in death by parents Anthony DelSignore and Victoria (Pronesti) Delsignore-Thomas and wife Kimberly Hull Wilde on July 1, 2018. Survived by children Randy Wilde and Jared DelSignore and granddaughter Shelby Wilde all of Sebring, FL; sister Patsy married to Merle 'Pooch' Shaffer, Acosta; brother Anthony Delsignore and wife Lillian, Sterling, VA; sisters Vicki married to John Borosky, Jenner Township and Debra (Thomas) widow of Mark DiFlori, Acosta as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A 1975 graduate of North Star High School where he played football and was a standout wrestler. A 1977 graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Lancaster, PA where he majored in auto body repair. He owned and operated Toad's Auto Body Shop, Boswell until he went to nursing training, graduating from UPJ, Johnstown. He worked at the VA Hospital in Altoona. After moving to Florida, he worked as a home health nurse and for an eye surgeon. Joe had a quick wit and loved his family. No viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be sent to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963.
