MATSKO, III – John J. “Pepe”, 74, Boswell, died January 14, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Born October 24, 1948 in Somerset. Son of John J., Jr. and Linda (Gallucci) Matsko. Preceded in death by parents, son, John J., IV and nephew, Edward Matsko, Jr. Survived by wife of 46 years, Teresa A. (Calisti) Matsko; daughter, Jessica Matsko; grandchildren, Giovanni, Alex, Allie, Aiden and Dominic; brothers, Edward, Sr. married to Roxanne (Kolinski) and Gary; sister, Donna Matsko-Schmitt married to Stacy Schmitt; mother-in-law, Caroline Baird; sister-in-law, Karen (Calisti) Ryan and brother-in-law, Bruno Calisti. Pepe was a 1966 graduate of Jenner-Boswell High School where he was an outstanding wrestler. Retired Safety Director for PBS Coal Co. Member of All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell and Ferndale Sportsmen and Jenner Rod & Gun Club. Pepe was an avid Penn State sports fan.
