SPANGLER – Jill E. (Odgers), 96, Johnstown, died October 2, 2021 at Laurelwood Care Center, Johnstown. Born August 29, 1925 in Johnstown. Daughter of John C. and Bertha A. (Kane) Odgers. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert R. Spangler and brothers, John C., Jr. and wife Vida, Richard B., Walter R. and wife Kay and Kenneth Odgers. Survived by son, Robert R. Spangler, Jr. and wife Diane (Bostian); grandchildren, Scott C. Spangler and fiancé Amy Arendas and Aaron J. Spangler and wife Amanda (Grayson), great-grandchildren, Eva, Genevieve, Natalie, Grayson and Micah; sister-in-law Margie Odgers and numerous nieces and nephews. Jill was a 1944 graduate of former Dale High School. She was employed by former Swank Hardware, Johnstown. Member of Westmont Presbyterian Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, golfing and attending the Mountain Playhouse and going on bus trips with her sister-in-law, Margie. No viewing or service will be held.
