BERTOLASIO – James N. “Bert” “Jim”, 76, of Jennerstown, died August 1, 2023 at his home following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Born August 1, 1947 in Jerome. Son of James and Flora (Sipos) Bertolasio. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Victor Bertolasio; brother, William Bertolasio and sisters, Virginia Kutchman, Roberta Cannone and Nancy Hoffman. Survived by wife of 47 years, Josephine Regina (Delasko) Bertolasio; son, James M. Bertolasio and wife Joanna; grandchildren, Nevore and Leira and sister, Carolyn Adams. Jim was a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. Former Electrician for Bethlehem Steel Corp. and Lincoln Contracting and Equipment. Member of Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Central City, UMWA, United Steel Workers, Ferndale Sportsmen, Jenner Rod & Gun Club, Jerome Polish Falcons, Central City VFW and Stoystown American Legion. Jim enjoyed spending time on his Harley. He and Regina would often take it on road trips exploring the country. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR. Friends received from 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a Panachida service will be held 6PM Friday and a Funeral Service will be held 10AM Saturday with V.
