Obituary for Jack E. Horner

HORNER - Jack E., 80, Jenner Crossroads, died April 25, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born December 31, 1940 in Johnstown. Son of Elmer and Edith “Goldie” (Crissey) Horner. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Therese Hanes and infant son James Horner. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Vickie (Kennell) Horner; children, Misty Horner, Christina Scheele and Michele Horner-Croteau; grandchildren, Lily Matse, Allona Taylor and Chantel Wilson; brother, Robert Horner and his wife Judy; father-in-law and mother-in-law William and Myrtle Kennell; sisters-in-law Chrystol and husband Lynn Boyer, Deborah and husband William Presto and Kimberly and husband Larry Rowe and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was a 1959 graduate of JBJ Joint High School, Boswell. He served in the United States Army and was a retired employee of former Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown with 30 years of service. He enjoyed attending car shows and showing off and cruising in his '90 Chevy pickup. Viewing from 3-7PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell.
