SOHA – Henry E., 91, Jerome, died February 4, 2019 at his home. Born January 30, 1928 in Jenners. Son of Martin and Frances (Peltz) Soha. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Kathleen Mulhollen; brothers Eugene, Emil, Fred, Adam and Ray and sisters Eugenia Soha, Helen Gowarty and Jennie Gowarty. Survived by wife of 67 years Virginia M. (Cubranich) Soha; children Connie married to John Popernack, Gray; Theresa married to Gary Carpenter, Jenner Crossroads; Elizabeth married to Alan Phillippi, Jerome and Paul Soha, Pittsburgh; son-in-law Robert Mulhollen, Jerome; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Marge Fortini, Jerome and Betty Hobba-Wissinger, Jerome and numerous nieces and nephews. A US Army veteran of Korean War. Retired employee of former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory. Henry was an avid sportsman. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville; Jerome Polish Falcons; Jenner Rod & Gun Club; Jerome American Legion and Jerome Sportsmen where he was instrumental in the construction of the indoor rifle range which is used by the North Star and Conemaugh Township rifle teams. Viewing from 4-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a vigil service will be held 4PM Thursday. Funeral Mass 11AM Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville with Fr. Aron Maghsoudi celebrant. Military rites by Somerset County Honor Guard. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery, Jerome.
