YODER - Grace A. (Thomas), 97, Davidsville, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2023 at Laurel View Village. Born May 10, 1925 in Thomas Mills, the daughter of Owen W. and Stella (Saylor) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents; husband of nearly 73 years, John Yoder, Jr. on October 29, 2017; sisters, Mildred Croyle and Lena Sala and brother, Paul Thomas. Survived by sons, Allen and wife Joy, Dean and wife Juanita and Dan and wife Marcia, all of Davidsville and Sam and wife Maryann of Aaronsburg, PA; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace was a 1943 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. Member of Kaufman Mennonite Church, Davidsville where she taught Sunday School and Bible School and made quilts for missions. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and baking. Viewing from 3-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Friends will also be received from 6PM until time of Celebration of Life service 7PM Friday at Kaufman Mennonite Church with Pastor Michael Dean and Pastor Tom Croyle presiding.
