He was instrumental in getting water back to the residents of Hollsopple following the 1977 flood. He erected a stone in memory of Dr. Grazier, a long-time physician in Hollsopple, at the Hollsopple Community Center. He was also instrumental in helping Conemaugh Township gain ownership of the land in Hollsopple where the baseball diamonds are today. Frank was the past Commander of the Hollsopple VFW and was influential in getting a new building built to house the organization where it is located today. A member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a life member of Hollsopple Fire Dept. He was a former coal miner and employee of Johnny Jax Garment Factory in Hollsopple. Frank was also an avid woodworker and he could fix just about anything.
