BENDICK- Frank Joseph, Jr., 94, Boswell, died June 1, 2023 at The Patriot, Somerset. Born May 26, 1929 in Johnstown. Son of Frank J., Sr and Catherine (Ofsanko) Bendick. Preceded in death by parents; wife Lucille M. (Romano) Bendick and brothers-in-law Don Hall and George Straub. Survived by son, Frank A. married Connie (Matse); daughters, Lucille married to Terry Lappi and Christine married to Michael Budzina; granddaughters, Kristi married to Chad Lisbon and their son Conner, Heidi married to Brian Bernasconi and their daughter Avery and Heather married to Chad Painter and their daughters Iris and Lyla and grandson Alex Bendick; sisters Katherine Straub and Jean Hall. Also survived by special friend Ann Omerzo. Frank was a veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from California State University and began to teach Metal Shop for 40+ years at North Star High School. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell Post #461 American Legion, VFW, Boswell Athletics Sportsman Association and Jenner Community Sportsman Association. Frank loved to go dancing, fly fishing, tying flies, hunting and bowling. He also enjoyed watching football and hockey. Friends received from 3-6PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Boswell. Funeral Mass at 10AM Friday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell with Rev. Fr. Aron Maghsoudi presiding.
