WHEELER – Eva M. (Puschnigg), 87, of Jenners, died December 4, 2023 at Arbutus Park Manor, Johnstown. Born March 18, 1936 in Jenners, the daughter of Anton J. and Virginia B. (Jackson) Puschnigg. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 58 years Allen R. Wheeler on November 3, 2015 and sisters, Antoniette Johnson and Patricia Haines. Survived by daughters, Holly married to Christopher Kapitan and Wendy married to Ken Ponczek; grandsons, Christopher and Haden Kapitan; sister, Ginger Gindlesperger and numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was a 1954 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. Former employee of Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factories, Jack’s Supermarket and St. Clair’s Supermarket. She attended the former Laurel Mountain Grace Brethren Church, Jennerstown. In her spare time she enjoyed drawing and painting, writing poems and solving crossword and word search puzzles.
