PERIGO - Ethel M. (Ravenscraft), 92, Boswell, died September 11, 2019 at In-Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born July 5, 1927 in Jerome. Daughter of John H. “Oney” and Mabel (Bracken) Ravenscraft. Preceded in death by parents; husband Joseph J. Perigo, January 24, 1993; daughter Stacy Miller, June 16, 2011; daughter-in-law Erma (Mattaliano) Perigo, February 8, 2011 and sisters Mary Ellen Ravenscraft and Margaret St.Clair. Survived by son Joseph A., Boswell; son-in-law Kenny Miller, Boswell; grandchildren Jeffrey Perigo and wife Becky, Boswell; Melanie (Perigo) Battaglia and husband Steve, Clymer, NY; Jody (Perigo) Buck and husband, Brian, Pittsburgh and Billy Jo Miller, Boswell; great grandchildren Elizabeth “Libby” and Nathan Perigo; Hayden and Camryn Battaglia and Dorothy Gale Buck. Sister of James and wife Nancy, Ohio; Thomas and wife, Joanne, Davidsville; Florence “Tiny”, widow of Donald Brown and Geraldine “Dute” Budzina and husband Bill, both of Boswell; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. A graduate of Conemaugh Township High School, Davidsville. A member of All Saints Parish. Past employee of former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory. Enjoyed spending time with and babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking for the family and enjoyed sewing. Ethel spent much time shopping, eating out at restaurants , drinking coffee, and visiting family with her sisters, “Tiny” and “ Dute”. Much love and care was given to Ethel during her last couple of years, especially by her granddaughter, Billie Jo and son-in-law, Kenny. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell, where Vigil For Deceased will be held Friday evening with Deacon Jay Pyle.
