SOWERBROWER – Elma G., 101, Jenner Township, died February 7, 2021 at The Patriot, Somerset. Born July 26, 1919 in Jenner Township. Daughter of Harry E. and Edna M. (Gindlesperger) Sowerbrower. Preceded in death by parents and brothers James E. and Robert E. Sowerbrower. Survived by sisters, Sara White, Albuquerque, NM and Edith L. married to Merle DeMarco, Jennerstown; sister-in-law Anna Marie Sowerbrower, Jennerstown and numerous nieces and nephews. Elma was a 1936 graduate of Boswell High School. Retired Office Manager for former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell with 42 years of service. Lifetime member of the Lutheran Church. She belonged to the former St. James Lutheran Church and was a current member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown. Also a member of Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Elma enjoyed reading, traveling on bus trips and watching hockey games. Viewing from 10AM until time of service 11AM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell with Rev. Douglas R. Knupp presiding. Interment St. James Cemetery.
