BERKEBILE – Donna Lea (Watkins), 86, Hooversville, went to be with the Lord, September 17, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Born September 5, 1936 in Quemahoning Township, Somerset County. Daughter of Forest and Fern (Shaffer) Watkins. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, George Miller, second husband Kimmel H. Berkebile; sisters, Virginia Dunn, Betty Meyers and Marion Miller-Crummett and brother, Robert Watkins. Survived by sons, Victor L. Miller married to Deborah (Chizmar), Hooversville and Chad Berkebile married to Lara (Lehman), Hooversville; grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Kristie married to Josh Opdenhoff, Brooke Miller, Zachary Miller and Keith Berkebile; great-granddaughters, Kryslyn and Maddie; brother, David “Van” Watkins and wife Peg. Donna was a 1955 graduate of Forbes High School. A member of former Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren, Blough where she was a Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher and piano player. Following Sugar Grove’s closing, she attended Bethel United Methodist Church, Hollsopple. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday, September 23rd at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville.
