LEPLEY - David W., 73, of Jennerstown, passed away March 25, 2024 at Richland Healthcare. Born September 14, 1950 in Somerset, the son of Walter and Helen (Baca) Lepley. Preceded in death by parents on May 11, 1989 and an infant sister in 1961. Survived by daughter, Katherine (Mark) Shaw, Jennerstown, and son, John (Melissa) Lepley, Pittsburgh; grandsons, Cody, Hunter, Parker, August, and Lincoln, and great-grandchildren Harrison and Kinsley; sisters and brothers Patricia (Howard) Hanes, Peggy (John) Zadzora, Gary (D’Arcy), Ronald (Debbie), Richard (Becky), and Chris (Jane) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. David was a 1969 graduate of Jenner-Boswell High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1994 and was awarded numerous commendations and retired as Chief Master Sergeant. He later worked at CVS Distribution Center in Somerset before retiring in 2008. David was a member of All Saints Catholic Parish in Boswell and Boswell Post 461 American Legion where he served several terms as Post Commander. In his spare time, he enjoyed putting puzzles together. At his request, all services will be private. Committal Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Jennerstown.
