HOLDER - David E., 70, Jenners, died April 22, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Johnstown. Born April 7, 1953 in Somerset. Son of Donald G. and Sarah J. (Shaffer) Holder. Preceded in death by parents and grandbaby. Survived by wife of 46 years, Kathleen E. (Yates) Holder; son, Jason Holder and wife Cortney; daughter, Jennifer married to Chad Smith; grandsons, Tyler Campbell and Chase Smith; granddaughters, Kalie and Hannah Smith; one great-grandbaby on the way; brother, Donald Holder and wife Camille and their sons, Donald Jr. and Patrick and daughter, Dawn. Dave is also survived by his pet dog Parker. Dave was a 1971 graduate of North Star High School and a graduate of Vale Tech in Auto Mechanic and Auto Body. He was owner and operator of Holder Auto Repair and Body Shop. He enjoyed bowling, auto racing, going to car shows and supporting his grandkids in their sports. Dave was a member of the Johnstown Street Survivors Car Club and New Beginnings Outreach Center, Boswell.
