BARANIAK – David A., 63, Boswell, passed away February 10, 2021. Born April 1, 1957 in Somerset. Preceded in death by father Frank “Penn” Baraniak in 1966. Survived by his mother Victoria (Brogin) Baraniak, Boswell; son Shane and wife Jo Marie, Blue Springs, MO; daughter Kristy Baraniak, Ocean City, MD; sister Donna and husband Karl Mikolich, Boswell; grandchildren Cody, Gavin and Nicholas Baraniak; former wife Lois (Gavel) Baraniak; nephew Brandon and wife Angie Mikolich; nieces Amanda and husband Jake Hoffman and Ashlin and husband Ben Steger. Dave was a 1975 graduate of North Star High School, Boswell. Retired employee of SCI Somerset. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish. He had a great love of the beach, the exercise room, being outdoors, watching sports-especially hockey, and drinking ice cold Coors Lights. He was a devoted son and loving father. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held Tuesday evening.
