KOWALCZYK – Chester A., Jr., 73, formerly of Boswell and Somerset, passed away May 2, 2021 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin. Born July 4, 1947 in Johnstown. Son of Chester A., Sr. and Rose Marie (DePetro) Kowalzcyk. Preceded in death by parents and brother Donald. Survived by sister, Mary Kay, married to Kenneth W. Johnson, Lincoln Township ; sister-in-law Catherine, Kowalczyk, Coatesville, PA; nieces and nephews, Brian and Douglas Kowalczyk, Kenneth W. Johnson II and wife Gina and Kristin (Johnson), married to Eric Fleming. Also survived by great nephews, Owen and Chase Fleming and numerous other relatives. Member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Somerset. Served 4 years in the U.S. Army and 1 year in the PA National Guard. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service 1:30PM Friday, June 11 at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell, Rev. Father Stephen Shin, O.M.F. officiating. Military Rites will be accorded.
