KAUFMAN – Beverly J. (Harbaugh), 81, of Davidsville, passed away February 8, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She is the daughter of the late Harry and Sara (Kimmel) Harbaugh. Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Donald R. Kaufman; daughter, Dana Wendling and husband Scott and their children, Kara and Carson; son, Brad Kaufman and wife Andi and their children, Abby and Ellie; sister, Terry Goodman and brother, Robert Harbaugh and his wife Darlene. Beverly was a 1960 graduate of Richland High School and a graduate of Cambria Rowe Business College. She was employed by ABC Credit and Johnstown Savings Bank and spent 27 years at Metropolitan Life before retiring in 2001. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Hollsopple. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and pet dogs. Beverly was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a wonderful heart and cheery disposition. She was always quick to offer a kind word or encouragement, putting others before herself and making people feel special. She will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the spring for family and friends and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, which was one of her favorite charities.
