HERSHBERGER - Beulah S. (Eash), 103, Davidsville, formerly of Owens Road, Johnstown died February 10, 2021 at Laurel View Village. Born April 13, 1917 in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. Daughter of Jonathan and Anna (Blough) Eash. Preceded in death by parents; husband of nearly 79 years, Owen D. on May 3, 2017; daughter, Janice Seager; sisters, Linnie Lehman and Thelma Thomas; brothers, Clarence, Harry, Leroy, Dorsey, Elmer and Olin Paul Eash; infant brother, Vernon Eash and sons-in-law Warren Davidhizar and Marlin Sala. Survived by children Joan Sala, Gilbertsville, PA; David married to Sarah (Lauman), Perkiomenville, PA; Joyce married to Jack Horner, Hollsopple; Dwight married to Joan (Kennell), Eureka, IL and Dennis married to Lorraine (Guzzardo), Schwenksville, PA; son-in-law Robert Seager, Belleville, PA; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Beulah was an active member of Thomas Mennonite Church where she belonged to the women’s quilting group. She was a volunteer for many years at World’s Attic, Somerset and Laurel View Village. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, quilting and visiting with and writing letters to family and friends. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Laurel View Village for all their kindness and compassion. A private viewing and service will be held at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Interment Thomas Mennonite Cemetery.
