JODLOWSKI – Betty Jean (Sadowsky), 92, Homeworth, OH, died July 30, 2020 at Summa Health System, Akron, OH. Born April 13, 1928 in Boswell. Daughter of Rudolph and Isadora Jean (Jacobs) Sadowsky. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 66 years Frank Paul Jodlowsky on August 23, 2012; sisters Patty Sweitzer, Carol Pendleton and Amanda Ringler and brothers Walter, Buddy and David Sadowsky. Survived by daughters Francine Ryder and husband Steve, Florida; Suzanne Steedman and husband Jake, Georgia; JoJean Jodlowski, Homeworth, OH, with whom Betty Jean resided, and Robin Crislip and husband Steve, Mantua, OH; grandchildren Steve Ryder, Jr. and wife Leslie; Felicity Ryder; Stephanie Augustyn and deceased husband Thad; Sarah James and husband Edward; Erin Jodlowsky; Jared Pak and wife Kristen; Lauren Crislip and Derek Crislip; great-grandchildren Emma and Eva Ryder and Gabriella Iovanna; Ethan Augustyn; Ella James and Gabriel Jodlowsky; sister Elfrieda Bechek and husband Mike and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1946 graduate of Boswell High School. Retired employee of Mantaline Corporation, Mantua, OH. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Alliance, OH. Betty Jean was an accomplished artist and also enjoyed crocheting. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Our beautiful mother leaves a legacy of love for us all. We will miss her very much. Our love for her will remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again.
