BROWN – Betty L. (Trexel), 90, Boswell, died May 29, 2023. Born October 18, 1932 in Jerome, the daughter of Fred K. and Kathryn A. (Moon) Trexel. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert E. Brown, Sr.; sister, Janet Infantino and her husband Samuel and daughter-in-law Susan (Kozdron) Brown. Survived by son, Robert E. Brown, Jr.; daughter, Cathy E. married to Ronald J. Simunic; grandchildren, Tawnya M. Stiles and husband David, Teri Brown (Mike), Miranda “Mindy” N. Simunic and Allyson C. Simunic; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh M. Stiles, Carmen L. Fritz and Tyler D. Stiles; brother, Jared M. Trexel, sister-in-law, Linda (Meyers) Trexel and several nieces and nephews. Betty was a 1950 graduate of JBJ Joint High School, Boswell. She was a Secretary to the Principal at North Star High School for 25 years. Active member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle and was deeply devoted to her faith. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, knitting, embroidery, playing cards and trivia and never missed an episode of Jeopardy.
