ALLISON – Barbara K. (Pattison), 79, formerly of Thomas Mills, died November 21, 2020 at Windber Medical Center. Born April 12, 1941 in Johnstown. Daughter of Robert and Marguerite (Timminey) Pattison. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 41 years James E. “Gene” on December 15, 2003 and brother Robert Pattison. Survived by children James R. “Rob” married to Barbara (Bantly), Johnstown; Ruth Ann Allison, Somerset and Kathy J. married to Bradley Smith, Ephrata; grandchildren Aaron Allison and wife Julianna, Adam Allison and Sarah Smith and great-grandchildren Bailey and Brayden Allison. Barbara was a 1959 graduate of Johnstown High School. Former member of Roxbury United Methodist Church and current member of Thomas Mennonite Church, Thomas Mills where she played piano and taught Sunday School and Bible School. Also a past member of Women’s AGLOW Fellowship. She enjoyed playing piano, especially for the residents of Laurelwood Care Center. She was a faithful sender of greeting cards and was an encouragement to others. Viewing from 11AM to Noon Saturday at Thomas Mennonite Church with face coverings and social distancing. A funeral service will follow at noon in the church cemetery, Pastor Wes Yoder presiding, with interment to follow.
