LAMONICA - Annetta J. “Ann” (Policicchio), 92, Boswell, died December 5, 2018 at Somerset Hospital. Born June 19, 1926 in Boswell. Daughter of James and Giovanna “Jennie” (Trigonna) Policicchio. Preceded in death by parents; husband Vincent, Sr. on August 23, 1993; 2 infant siblings; sister Rose Maruca and brothers Tony, Bruno, James, John and Marshall. Survived by son Vincent, Jr. married to Tracey (Hill), Jennerstown; daughter Annetta C. Lamonica, Cumberland, MD; sister Caroline Baird, Boswell and numerous loving nieces, nephews and in-laws. A 1944 graduate of former Boswell High School, after which she worked at the War Department at The Pentagon. Following the war, she returned to Boswell and married Vincent in 1947. She worked over 20 years in the office of the former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory. Along with her husband Vince, she owned and operated the former Washington Furnace Inn, Laughlintown for over 22 years. After selling the “Furnace”, she worked as a cook until the age of 79. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish; Boswell Lodge 1780, SOI; Boswell Fireman’s and American Legion Auxiliarys and Four Seasons. She enjoyed attending the Boswell Senior Citizens and volunteering at the Helping Hands Food Pantry. Viewing 2-4 & 6-8PM Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a vigil for the deceased will be held Sunday. SOI service will be held 3PM Sunday. Funeral Mass 11AM Monday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell with Rev. Fr. Aron Maghsoudi, celebrant. Committal Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
