Obituary for Anna M. Shaulis

SHAULIS – Anna M. (Manges), 88, of Davidsville, passed away May 8, 2023 at Windber Hospice. Born October 15, 1934 in Hyasota the daughter of Jacob and Olive (Stern) Manges. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Paul A. Shaulis, Sr.; son, Roger Shaulis; infant brother, William and brother, Clyde Manges. Survived by children, Paul Jr., married to Janet (Dudash), Johnstown; David, married to Cyndi (Pritts); and Susan, married to Charles Yoder, both of Hollsopple; and Nancy, married to Christopher Thomas, Richland; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters, Delores Wyant, Richland and Grace Frampton, Boswell. Anna was a 1952 graduate of JBJ Joint High School, Boswell. She was a retired Nurse’s Aide for Windber Hospital. Anna had strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, tending to her cats and watching old westerns on TV. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville where a service will be held 11AM Friday with Pastor Gary Anderson and Pastor Nathan Shaulis presiding.
