Obituary for Andrew J. Pluta Jr.

PLUTA - Andrew J. Jr., 34, Stoystown, went to be with the Lord December 31, 2020 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born June 4, 1986 in Windber. Son of Andrew, Sr. and Peggy (Baldwin) Pluta. In addition to his parents, Andrew leaves behind two young daughters, Rustie Grace and Charlie Mae Pluta. They were the light of his life and brought him so much joy. He loved them both with his whole heart. Also survived by sisters Brandy Thompson and Andrea Flick and twin brother Robert Pluta and their families and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including special aunts Sharon Pluta and Crystal Fama. A 2005 graduate of North Star High School. Member of Jenner Rod & Gun Club, Quemahoning Rod & Gun Club and New Baltimore Sportsmen. Andrew will be remembered for being a kind and caring soul who was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved many things, including hunting and fishing with his brother and close friends, working on cars, spending time with his family and most of all racing. Racing was Andrew's passion. He will always be remembered and admired for being one of Jennerstown Speedway’s finest, both on and off the track. He also enjoyed racing dirt track at Bedford Speedway, Roaring Knob, and Dog Hollow. Due to Covid, services will be announced at a later date.
