YODER – Amelia S. "Millie" (Milkie), 88, Davidsville, passed away April 21, 2022 at Richland Healthcare & Rehab Center. Born August 14, 1933 in Windber. Daughter of Nicholas and Adell (Geha) Milkie. Preceded in death by parents; brother, George and wife Genevieve; sisters, June and husband Richard Fiscus, Louise and husband James Young and Alberta Stiles. Survived by loving husband of 69 years, Raymond S. Yoder; daughters, Catherine A. “Cathy” and husband Dwayne Deal and Linda J. and husband John M. Woodward, III; grandchildren, Theresa Deal and Kristy Zyra; great-grandchildren, Paige Deal and Michael Zyra; brother-in-law Philip Stiles and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Amelia was a 1952 graduate of Johnstown High School. Member of St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville. She enjoyed knitting and keeping a clean house. She was a very social person who enjoyed being around others and had a special way of making people laugh. She also had a love of animals, especially her pet cats, Tessie and Beca. The family would like to thank the staff of Richland Healthcare for all their compassionate care given to Amelia.
