PHILLIPS - Adam Michael, 37, passed away in Virginia Beach, Virginia on February 10, 2020. Son of Michael Phillips, Jerome and Debra Waterbury, Virginia Beach. Survived by parents; sister Erin married to William Thomas, New Mexico and nieces Kaelyn, Katherine and Ava Thomas and nephews William and Benjamin Thomas. Also survived by many other relatives. Adam was a proud graduate of Colonial Forge High School (2001) and Radford University (2006). His family, who mourn the loss of his life, loved Adam deeply. He was an adventurer at heart and dreamed of doing big things. Adam in return loved his family and friends dearly, and he was always happiest in the company of loved ones. He will be remembered for his jokes, his big heart, and his intentions to never give up. Adam fought terminal illness since birth, encountered and created struggles, and faced tough times with a spirit that did not stop trying to do better. Adam will be remembered handling a lacrosse stick, for his great capacity to love, and for his determination to press forward. May his soul find the eternal rest it so deserves.
