CALDERONE – Adam J., 96, formerly of Boswell, died September 25, 2020 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born April 27, 1924 in Coal Junction. Son of Joseph and Mary (Parisi) Calderone. Preceded in death by parents; sons Paul Joseph, May 8, 1965 and Joseph Paul, January 4, 2010; sisters Mamie, Rose and Katie and brothers Frank, Sam and Pete. Survived by wife of 71 years, former Isadora “Izzy “ Biasella; sons Mario, married to former Susan E. Bird, Malvern, PA and Jeffrey, married to former Dawnita Truitt, Warrenton, VA; grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Adam, Kierston, Jessica, John, Zachary, Wesley and Anna and sisters Josephine ‘”Pina” Kulka, Boswell and Carmella Singo, Kennett Square, PA. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Somerset, Boswell Post #461, American Legion and Silver Sneakers. Lifetime member of Jenner Rod & Gun Club. Longtime Sexton for Mt. Carmel Cemetery having professionally plotted the current cemetery map. Graduate of former Boswell High School class of 1942. Navy veteran of WWII. Also a graduate of Williamsport Tech Institute. Retired mechanical engineering draftsman for United Technology. Served on Boswell Water Authority for many years.
