KOSOSKI – Catherine C. “Cass” (Carosello), 94, Jerome, passed away October 3, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born June 10, 1925. Daughter of Angelo and Ann (Perry) Carosello. Preceded in death by parents, beloved husband of 62 years Walter “Fat” S. Kososki, sister Connie Cuppett and her husband Victor and niece Karen Buterbaugh and her husband Terry. Survived by daughter Celeste Kososki widow of Keith Scott, St. Louis, MO; nephew and godson Cary (Jean) Cuppett and loving and attentive cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Special thanks to Maxine Enderlein, Josie Gusmerotti, Patty Bazyk and Brenda Moldovan for their attention and friendship. Gratitude to her caregivers Diane St.Clair, Rheta Berkey, Keesha Walker and Terrie Rovan and to her “Lower End” neighbors. Cass was a 1942 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She began her working career at Terrace Chevrolet continued at Penn Traffic Co. and retired from Nationwide Insurance. Always her husband’s first “Art Critic”, she also enjoyed attending art shows and fairs, trips to the Mountain Playhouse and outings to the racetrack. She was an excellent cook and a committed Catholic. Friends received from 2-6PM Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held 2PM Sunday. Funeral Mass 2PM Monday at St. Anne Church with Fr. Peter Crowe, Celebrant. Committal St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Geistown.
