WALKER – Fred P., 85, Somerset (Stonycreek Township), died May 16, 2019 at In-Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born September 29, 1933 in Stonycreek Township. Son of Perry and Theresa (Miller) Walker. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Ruth Williams and Dorothy Daugherty, brothers Clarence and Robert Walker and first wife former Norma Klotz. Survived by wife of 42 years, former Dorothy (Shesko) Schrock; children Jeffrey and Rex Walker and Christopher Walker and wife Michelle, Randy Schrock and wife Mary, Melissa (Schrock) and husband Kevin Bittner and Chris Schrock and wife Robyn; grandchildren Gabrielle, Michael, Nick, Ben, Jesse, Hannah, Courtney, Luke, Lily, Amanda and Derek; great-grandsons Holden and Gavin; brothers Elby, Herbert and wife Marian, Calvin and wife Bernice, Richard and Donald and wife Karen and sisters Mabel and husband William Revello and Janet and husband Jay Anderson. A graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. A U.S. Army veteran of Korean War. Member of Christian Community Church. Owner/Operator of Fred Walker Trucking. Fred greatly enjoyed his grandchildren’s sporting events and loved farming.
