Obituary for Moses R. Yoder

YODER - Moses R., 75, Davidsville, went home to be with the Lord April 24, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 12, 1940, in Johnstown, son of the late Moses D. and Blanche (Croyle) Yoder. Survived by wife of 52 years, June L. (Gindlesperger) Yoder; sons, Kevin R., married to Amy (Miller) Yoder, Jennerstown, and Keith A., married to Diana (McDanel) Yoder, Davidsville; granddaughter, Kayla M. Yoder; aunt, Mary Edna Stevenson, Boswell; and sister-in-law, Verna (Gindlesperger), married to Joe Stevens, Hollsopple. A 1958 graduate of Johnstown Mennonite School. He was owner and operator of his own air conditioning/refrigeration business, where he made many lasting friendships. A life member of Kaufman Mennonite Church, Davidsville. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. The family would like to thank the Somerset Oncology Center staff and special angels for the wonderful care Moses received. Also a thank you to the Palliative Care Unit at Conemaugh Hospital for their compassionate care. Viewing from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kaufman Mennonite Church, with the Pastoral team from the church presiding. Interment, Kaufman Cemetery.
