Obituary for Linda Lee Wilcox (Sheeler)

WILCOX - Linda Lee (Sheeler), 75, Somerset, beloved wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma "GG", went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on September 11, 2021. She will be welcomed by many loving arms, especially her beloved daughter, Tamie Lee Frank, whom she has missed for 46 years; her mother, Edna Jane Sheeler; son Donald Seybold and brother, Daniel Sheeler. Survived by her forever love Harry A. Wilcox, to whom she was married for 48 years; daughters Michele married to Randy Klein and MaryBeth Seybold; son, William Wilcox and wife Juanita; grandchildren, Jessica (Klein) married to Craig Maurer, Matthew and Nichole Landis, Andrea (Ballard) married to Nate King, Jacob Nicholson, Drew Girard, Zachary and Angelina Seybold, Shakera McLain and Jay, Michael and Lou Wilcox; great-grandchildren, Madyson and Owen Maurer and Liam King. Linda was a 1964 graduate of the former Jenner-Boswell High School. Member of First Christian Church in Somerset and Stoystown Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She had a marriage made in heaven and was happiest sitting in the stands watching her children and grandchildren in any activity. She was most proud of her family, which included many friends of her children. Linda enjoyed “the gang” gatherings and all Pittsburgh sports teams. She was known for her generosity and her home was open to many who called her mom. Viewing from 2-5 & 6-8PM Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10AM until time of service 11AM Thursday at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 1845 N. Center Ave., Somerset with Rev. Michael A. Dunlap presiding. Interment Christ Casebeer Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Linda would love monetary donations sent to Humane Society of Somerset County, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or UPMC Somerset In Touch Hospice. Without our hospice nurses, this journey would have been unbearable. All three charities were near and dear to her heart. To express condolences, visit HoffmanFuneralHomes.com.
