MIKOLICH - Donna Marie (Baraniak), 63, Boswell, passed away December 31, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh surrounded by her family. Born November 27, 1958 in Somerset. Preceded in death by father, Frank “Penn” Baraniak in 1966, brother, David Baraniak in 2021, father-in-law, Joseph Mikolich, Sr. in 1996; mother-in-law Anna (Lyzbicki) Mikolich in 2019 and sister-in-law Mary Piper in 2015. Survived by mother, Victoria (Brogin) Baraniak of Boswell; husband, Karl F. Mikolich; son, Brandon and wife Angie (Alwine) and their children Trevor, Aubrey, and Bella of Bristow VA; daughter, Amanda and husband Jake Hoffman and their children Owen, Claire, and Samuel of Boswell and daughter, Ashlin and husband Ben Steger of Asheville, NC. Also survived by close family, Diane, Debra, Kristy, brothers and sisters-in-law, Barbara and husband Bill Rosner, Joe and wife Marge Mikolich, Wanda and husband Larry Yokopenic, Patty and husband Robert Lottig and Sheila and husband Patrick Ryan and numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends. Donna was a 1976 graduate of North Star High School. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish. Previous employee of North Star School District and Green Gables Restaurant, Jennerstown. She was a caring and thoughtful mom and “Mimi” who loved to spoil her 6 grandkids. She also enjoyed Sunday morning tea, craft fairs, vacations and spending any time with her family. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held 2PM Thursday. Funeral Mass 11AM Friday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell with Rev. Fr. Aron Maghsoudi, Celebrant. Family requests that face masks be worn for the viewing and funeral.
