MARIAN - Tony, 94, Jerome, died May 28, 2016 at the Lutheran Home at Johnstown. Born July 2, 1921 in Lucerne Mines, Indiana County, PA. Son of Fred and Tatiana (Zaplitna) Marian. Preceded in death by parents, brother Walter and sister Vera Vaccarino. Survived by wife of 66 years Erma L. (Alt) Marian; sons Alan, Pittsburgh and Fred, Boswell; grandchildren Alan, Gregory, Amy, Jed and Adda; great-grandchildren Kyleigh, Andrew, Anthony, Gunnar, Colton, Nolan, Jordan and Tyson and brother-in-law William Alt and wife Mary. A U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Owner/operator of former Marian’s Appliance Store, Jerome. Member of the VFW and Greater Ferndale Sportsmen’s Club. Tony was also an avid fisherman.
