KOVACH – George 90, Jenners, died July 8, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 27, 1924, in Wilpen, Pa., son of Mike and Sophy (Ishak) Kovach. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 61 years, Helen (Pelesky) Kovach, on July 23, 2013; grandson, Michael Nicholas Kovach; brothers, Michael, William and John; and sister, Anna Mohyer. Survived by children, Nicholas, married to Juliana (Butchko) Kovach; Irene Kovach; and George, married to Cheryl (Johnston) Kovach, all of Jenners; much loved granddaughter, Carolyn Kovach, Jenners; stepgrandchildren, Charity Reginelli and Michael Kasten, both of Florida; brother, Charles “Chuck,” and wife, Kitty, Shelby, Ohio; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. A U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, Jenners. George was very devoted to his children and family. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where Panachida will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. A brief prayer service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, Jenners.
