BOYER – Lillian R. “Chic” (Long), 94, Hollsopple, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 18, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 7, 1920, in Johnstown, daughter of Frank and Jenny Ferguson Long. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert E. Boyer, on July 20, 1990; son-in-law, Lloyd Sarver; and six sisters and brothers. Survived by children, Robert C. Boyer and Bernice A. Sarver, both of Hollsopple; and Janice Y., married to Robert H. Burns, Monroeville. Loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She attended Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville.
